Spaffing good Musik

Lend us your ears and we shall fill them with musical filth.

AUDIO-FREq will be bringing you the low-down on the musical scene in Brumz, home to some squelchingly good nights that go off under the student radar.  With exclusive material from home-grown talent and the best previews of nights that don't love Tom's mum and would shoot a ruddy bull and drink the vodka themselves, AUDIO-FREq will deliver a students take on the musical scene and where best to get your knickers dirty this week.

THIS WEEK AUDIO-FREq has mostly been listening to the Sick Girls exclusive mix for Jackmode.  Amazingly crunky bass driven sounds from a female partnership which swims against the strict Berlin techno diet. Sick Girls have recently signed with super agency Jackmode and forge bass driven beats with a dubstep/grime/gangster rap/whatever else takes their fancy.  Stick this on. Turn up the bass. Enjoy.

Also coming out of Jackmode in the last week is an absolute captain of a track from Alter Ego & the legendary Claude Von Stroke.  A beautiful sounding shuffle that incorporates everything you'd expect from such killer artists- namely a great vibesy feel and lyrics that you know but will perhaps like even more after a tinkering by the two.
